Notice To Students
Post License Course

The Georgia Real Estate Commission requires all schools to notify each student that our Post License Sales Course and our Continuing Education Courses have been approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission as meeting the requirements of Georgia Laws relating to required courses.  Our school’s next renewal will be December 31, 2007.

Our instructors, Mary Burns, Louise Hudder, Roy Jones, George Lakes, Liz Vanover, Paul Wiley, and Frank Wood, have been approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission to teach these courses.  These instructors will be teaching all classes with any of them substituting when needed.

The Georgia Real Estate Commission requires that no recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed in this class or on the school premises.  Report promptly any effort to recruit by anyone to Bobby Wood, School Director, at (770)449-4410 or 4980 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard, Sugar Hill, GA 30518, or the Georgia Real Estate Commission.

Entrance qualifications and standards of completion will not be based upon race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status, or handicap.

GA Real Estate Post License Passing Policy

You must score 75% or better on your final exam and meet the attendance requirements of the Georgia Real Estate Commission.  The Georgia Real Estate Commission requires the transmission of all passing students' grades using their online program, unless your license has lapsed.  In that case, we issue a post-license passing certificate that you must send to the Commission.

It is our policy to allow all students to retake the final exam once.  If the student makes less than 75% on his/her first final, we will schedule one postlicense retake exam at a cost of $50.00 per student.  Each student must meet the homework assignments before the final exam can  be taken.

If the student makes less than 75 on the retake test, the course must be repeated.  This is a Real Estate Commission requirement.

GA Real Estate Post License Attendance Policy

All students must attend 25 hours of classroom instruction.

Students must pass our final exam with a grade of 75% or better in order to receive a passing grade.

Any hours beyond five hours missed during the postlicense course must be made up in our school during a subsequent postlicense course in order to meet the state's attendance requirement.  For every portion of an hour missed, a full hour must be made up.

Please be considerate of your fellow students and real estate agents and do not bring any guests or children into the classroom or into the building, unless you have been given express permission by the school director.

NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN THE CLASSROOM.  ALL CELL PHONES SHOULD BE LEFT IN YOUR CAR OR TURNED OFF DURING CLASS.

Instructors have the authority to change the class date and/or times due to holidays falling during the session.  If such a situation occurs during your class, the instructor will notify students the first class of the change in class date and/or time.  If the first class falls on such a holiday, this change will be made available in class and by calling the school directly.

In the event of inclement weather, classes will be cancelled if the
Gwinnett County School System closes.  If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, the instructor will announce the make up class and time at the next scheduled class.
