About our Georgia Real Estate Prelicense Class
Our prelicense real estate class satisfies the required 75 hours of training necessary
to take the Georgia Real Estate License Exam, as prescribed by the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
There are three different schedules of classes (Day, Night, and Online GA real estate classes).
The First day of class, you will receive your textbook. There are other study guides that go along with our
real estate license class that you can purchase seperately, but they are not required.
Notice To Students Prelicense Course
The Georgia real estate commission requires each of our students to be provided with a notice to students.
You will recieve a copy in class, but if you would like to read over it, you may do so here.
Prelicense Notice to Students
Prelicense Passing Policy
It is the Policy of A Bob Wood Real Estate Academy to notify the
Georgia Real Estate Commission upon meeting the
commission's attendance requirements and achieving a score of 75% on the final exam. You
must have an average of 75% or better on all of your daily assignments to
qualify to take our school's final exam. The Georgia Real Estate
Commission requires the transmission of all students' date of graduation through
their online program. We transmit to them same or next business day, depending on when class is out for that day.
If the student makes less than 75% on his/her final
exam, we will schedule a retake exam at no additional cost. Only one
retake exam will be offered for all eligible students following your final exam.
If the student makes less than 75% on the retake exam, the course
must be repeated to retake the test. This is a Georgia Real Estate Commission
Requirement.
Real Estate license Class Attendance Policy
The Georgia Real Estate Commission is very strict regarding the
required number of hours for the prelicense course. This course requires seventy-five (75)
hours of in-class instruction excluding breaks.
Each class has it's own different schedule, however each class has scheduled 15 minute breaks
and an hour lunch (if applicable).
All Real Estate Classes Begin Promptly at Scheduled Times.
For day and eveining real estate classes, you may miss a maximum of 2 days of class.
Each portion of an hour late will count as a full hours absence. Eg. If a student 2 minutes late,
it will count as an hour late. If a student is an hour and five minutes late, will count as two
hours.
If you have not completed seventy-five (75) class hours, we will
be unable to notify the Real Estate Commission that you have passed. If 75
hours are not attended in this course, you cannot carry any time into another of
our courses, and you would have to attend another full 75 hours to get credit.
You must
attend a minimum of 75 hours in class to successfully complete the course, or
you are required to repeat the course.
The classes provided by A Bob Wood
Real Estate Academy require
intensive study and
classroom participation. We cover a great deal of material in a short period
of time, otherwise our school would have to meet over a longer period
of time. Please be considerate of you fellow students and do not bring
any guests or children into the classroom, into the building, or on the
premises unless you have been given express written permission by the School
Director.
NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN THE CLASSROOM. ALL CELL PHONES
SHOULD BE LEFT IN YOUR CAR OR TURNED OFF DURING CLASS.
Instructors have
the authority to change the class
date and/or times due to holidays falling during the session. If such a
situation occurs during your class, the instructor will notify students the first
class of the change in class date and/or time. If the first class
falls on such a holiday, this change will be made available online or by
contacting the school directly. Consult the member of administration
conducting the orientation with any questions.
In the event of inclement
weather, classes will be cancelled if the
Gwinnett County School System
closes. If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, the instructor
will announce the make up class and time at the next scheduled
class.
