Online vs. Live Real Estate Prelicense Classes
Have you been thinking about getting a Georgia Real Estate license but can't decide if you want to take the live prelicense class or the online real estate class? Here's a few things you should know about each so that you can make the best decision on the course of real estate class you would like to get your license.

Online Real Estate Classes
Online learning, if you have never taken it before, requires a lot of devotion and time
management to make yourself sit down in front of a computer to learn during periods of time when you generally are free or spending time with your family. This is the hardest part of what we have heard from people taking the online prelicense real estate class. The online class and the live prelicense class must meet specific teaching guidelines, so you are recieving the same education to get your real estate license. The online
format of class causes you to read a little and answer questions about what you read to make sure your understanding of the material. If you answer the questions wrong you must repeat the lesson. Naturally, the advantage of taking the real estate class online is so that you can do it around your schedule. You do not have immediate access to an instructor and a practical day to day usage of the knowledge you are getting won't be explained to you. Pass rates from the online class and the live real estate class generally tend to be on par with each other.

38 Years in Business Live Prelicense Real Estate Classes

If you can manage to take the time away from your scheduleand take a live real estate class, the knowledge you get will be a little more useful because it will have some practical knowledge behind it. The problem is that it is hard to fit it into a schedule sometimes. The benefit is that it will be done when the class is done. Online classes generally get drawn out because the user is not forced to sit down at certain times. Any misunderstanding or problem areas that you are having a hard time getting are more easily and corrected with a one-on-one student/teacher envoronment.

Continued.... In my opinion, if you can take the online or classroom real estate class, I would choose the classroom taught. Not because it's what we do here, it's based on what i've heard our prelicense students saying about taking the real estate online class. Both produce the same results, generally the classroom taught is quicker, however a little more expensive, than online. That cost can easily be justified by the quality of having an instructor. Just one small thing picked up from an experienced instructor can make and save you money later on in your real estate carrer. Reguardless which route you take, the online real estate class, or the live prelicense class, good luck with your new adventure, and send us a message or ask us if you need any help. That's what we are here for!
